Schönbrunn Palace, Imperial Apartments & Gardens
Schönbrunn was the summer residence of the Habsburg emperors for 300 years and the childhood home of Mozart (he performed here aged 6) and Marie Antoinette. The Imperial Apartments reveal extraordinary Rococo interiors. The formal gardens extend up the hill to the Gloriette, a triumphal arch with panoramic views over Vienna that were the Habsburg emperors' daily walk.
