Josefov Jewish Quarter, Holocaust Memorial Tour
Josefov, Prague's Jewish quarter, is one of the best-preserved Jewish heritage sites in Europe. The six synagogues span 400 years of architectural history. The Old Jewish Cemetery, where graves were stacked 12 layers deep due to lack of space, is unlike any other burial ground. The Pinkas Synagogue walls are inscribed with the names of 77,297 Bohemian and Moravian Jews killed in the Holocaust.
