East Side Gallery, History & Art Walking Tour
The East Side Gallery is the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall, 1.3 kilometres of concrete canvas covered in murals commissioned from 118 international artists in 1990, the year after the Wall fell. The Fraternal Kiss between Brezhnev and Honecker and the Trabant breaking through the Wall are globally iconic. A walking tour provides the political context and artist stories behind the works.
